The Algarve & Alentejo offer a wide variety of water sport, other activities and sightseeing
Most beaches along the coastline are very surfable, our favourites are Amoreira (closest & decent waves), Bordeira (largest but can have fairly strong current), Arrifana (best waves but most crowded), Odeceixe (nicest beach but can have fairly strong current), Amado (where the pros like to go). We recommend Boa Onda Surf School for Arrifana & Monte Clerigo
Stand-up paddling can typically be done at all the places where surf lessons are being offered. Most beaches nearby are suited for it
The best kite surf condition are on the south coast of the Algarve, c. 45-60mins drive from Vale de Agua.
